I think this is a great idea and one that's time has come. Charging for this is only logical. Scheduling may be an issue in some cases but foreknowledge of the schedule would alleviate much of that. If I could get in a couple sessions with my favorite Krav instructor once or twice a month I'd be one happy dude!

It's a good idea, but may be difficult to maintain as a live option. Perhaps pre-recorded would be much better. Also, how could you approach this without treating any org's preferentially? Some are small and not very financially strong, but hold great skill amongst their ranks.......... the KMF as a case in point. Great people, good instructors and so forth. I may not always agree with their applications, but have the utmost respect for many of them.

A lot of ideas are being bounced around at the moment, to encourage members to participate more regularly on the site. Live stream/pre-recorded downloads seems to be a natural progression for the site. We will be asking instructors based in Israel to host the live stream/pre-recorded downloads. We feel that this will give more authenticity to the training sessions feature. As we are all aware there are many instructors who call themselves "experts", but have never actually stepped foot in Israel. We want the training sessions to be as authentic as possible.
With regards to treating organizations preferentially..... We will approach many organizations and instructors based in Israel that have good solid reputations and proven track records. Of course there are a couple of well known orgs that will not entertain the idea as they are very close knit and guard their training fiercely (unless you pay their extortionate membership fees and purchase their expensive DVDs). Instructors and organizations that are interested will be able to schedule there own sessions at a time convenient to them. If several instructors want to participate, KS members will be able to select and pay for the session they want to participate in.
With regards to the costs for the instructors/orgs, these will be minimal. There will also be the opportunity for them to showcase there training and in turn, there is the possibility that KS members will want to train with them in person resulting in more financial rewards for the instructorsch/orgs.
Of course none of this will be possible if member participation does not increase on the site.
