Krav Maga Level:
Beginner
About Me:
I'm a Father of two boys with a great wife. My younger years experienced some limited training in Kenpo and later some Krav Maga. After the kids were born I was inactive for a few years and have gotten back into the swing of things in the last year.

My training centers around Crossfit 6 days a week and some bag work on one of the off days. My goal is to put a training regement together with the use of IKI material that I can do at home both individually and with a partner.

Latest Activity

Agreed. From basics to techniques you won't see anywhere else. Good stuff!

Good article and one that is relevent in what has/is going on within "Krav Maga". I think that with many things that become popular, people come to Krav Maga for different reasons. Excercise, a feeling of accomplishment, and of course, self defense.…

Thanks Tim. Look forward to reading your stuff.

Tim that's awesome, and is good info from a source of experience. Any way you might be able to describe a couple of the scenarios and any thoughts or challenges you encountered in these situations. Thanks for sharing.

Check out http://contactcombatstl.com/blog/ for a great combat oriented conditioning program. Strength work (Squats, pull-ups etc) mixed with bag work and striking. Much more fun than an ordinary work out yet one that will push your limits. Nick who…

I've gotten some feedback about this before but I'd like to hear your opinion on having hands raised (when having a weapon pointed at you), as in a sign of compliance and then initiating your defense, vs. Starting your defense from a hands at your s…

Moshe has always reponded to my questions very fast and is very approachable. No beaurocracy or politics, just good material and training.

Nicely done video. Having never trained or met the man I can only speak from watching his videos on line and TV. My first thought is what a genuine and real guy. No hype, no bragging, just real and humble. Thanks for posting this.

I think this is a great idea and one that's time has come. Charging for this is only logical. Scheduling may be an issue in some cases but foreknowledge of the schedule would alleviate much of that. If I could get in a couple sessions with my favori…

Youtube video showing a way to work on your defensive and reaction skills on the heavy bag. Nice when you don't have a partner.

Thanks for the gift,I am feeling prety good today and I am glad that it wasnt worse. I dont think I will be wishing time away like I once did when the 18 wheeler with bright lights was aproaching blowing the horn I was a llittle bit blinded until WHam! the buck landed in the grill of my car and then it went everywhere,I was glad it was the deer instead of the big truck that hit me,It is amazing how fast things can go from great to a diaster. I hope you have a great week and thanks again for the comment.

I have a friend who operate the KMW (now 2) in Vegas. He works with Eyal, David Kahn and has expressed interest in Moshe as well. Maybe I can coax him into having a seminar just before or after mine and you could hit both!! All the while making sure to stay a day or two extra in Vegas for the wife! A good 5 day vacation and 2 full days of IKI training might be just the ticket to make up the difference.....

Hi Dave,

Thank you for the well wishes regarding this weekend's seminar. I wish you could be here. You are going to be able to attend at least one of Moshe's seminars on this tour aren't you? I really hope so, you'll have a great time and learn a LOT!

Hey David I see that you are off to a good start already, I do a lot of out of the box type training and I call thhat guy in the below comment lol (Tim Cottonwood Combat) frequently and discuss any crazy training methods I can think of. The IKI will give you the tools to reach your goals and you will have a lot of support from the group.Airsoft is awesome I use a green gas model alot that has a pretty high velocity and the slide moves like the real thing. Take care and have a great weekend!
